UPSBC Recruitment 2025 Assistant Engineer: Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation Limited (UPSBC) has started the application process for recruitment to a total of 57 posts of Assistant Engineer for the recruitment year 2025. According to the recruitment advertisement, a total of 57 posts will be appointed. Out of these, 50 posts are reserved for Assistant Engineer (Civil) and 7 posts for Assistant Engineer (Mechanical).
Educational Qualification
For the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil), the candidate must have a full-time undergraduate degree (BE/B.Tech) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute. Similarly, for the post of Assistant Engineer (Mechanical), the candidate must have a full-time BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit for the candidates applying for this recruitment has been fixed at 21 years, and the maximum age limit at 40 years. Age will be calculated as per the norms given in the respective notification. Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates of Uttar Pradesh will be given a relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit. At the same time, disabled (PH) candidates will get a relaxation of 15 years, and ex-servicemen will get a relaxation of 3 years, along with the benefit of the period of service in the army.
GATE 2025 Requirements
Candidates applying for these posts are required to appear and clear the GATE 2025 exam. Candidates must have a valid scorecard of GATE 2025, obtained from the relevant subjects (Civil Engineering - CE or Mechanical Engineering - ME). Candidates who have appeared in any other paper of GATE will not be considered eligible for these posts.
Shortlisting based on GATE 2025 score
Shortlisting of candidates for these posts will be done on the basis of the normalized marks of GATE 2025. Taking into consideration the GATE scores of the applicants, separate merit lists will be prepared for each subject (Civil and Mechanical).
Candidates with higher GATE scores will get a higher place in the merit list. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification as a further process. It will be mandatory to produce all original certificates and required documents at the time of document verification.
Complete waiver in application fee
Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation Limited has completely waived the application fee for all categories of candidates under this recruitment process. That is, candidates will not have to deposit any fee while applying.
