Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released recruitment for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts for both male and female candidates. The application process started yesterday, 28th July. Interested candidates can visit the official website of the commission uppsc.up.nic.in, and submit the application in online mode till 28th August.

The commission has invited applications for recruitment to a total of 7466 posts of TGT. In some posts, there are 4860 posts for male candidates, 2525 for female candidates, and 81 posts for backlog. UPPSC TGT Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria: UP TGT Qualification?

Candidates applying for TGT posts should have a graduation degree in the relevant subject from any recognized university. Also, the candidate should have done B.Ed and should have a valid certificate of the UP Teacher Eligibility Test. The minimum age of the applicant is 21 years, and the maximum should be 40 years. Candidates of reserved category have also been given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules of the government. The age of the applicants will be calculated from 1st July 2025.

UPPSC TGT Vacancy 2025 Application Fee: How much is the application fee?

The application fee for General / OBC / EWS category applicants has been fixed at Rs 125. At the same time, the application fee for SC / ST is Rs 65, and for Divyang candidates, the application fee has been fixed at Rs 25. Candidates can pay the application fee through debit card, credit card, internet banking, or mobile wallet.
