UP Police SI Recruitment 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the notification for UP Police SI and ASI recruitment 2025. Through this recruitment, a total of 537 eligible candidates will be selected for the posts of Sub-Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk), and ASI (Accounts). Interested candidates can apply online until January 19, 2026.
Who can apply?
SI (Confidential): For this post, candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognized university. They must also have a typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi, 30 words per minute in English, and 80 words per minute in Hindi shorthand. In addition, candidates must possess an ‘O’ Level computer certificate.
ASI (Clerk): For this post, candidates must have a graduate degree. They must have a typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi and 30 words per minute in English. An ‘O’ Level computer certificate is also mandatory.
ASI (Accounts): For this post, candidates must have a B.Com degree. They must have a typing speed of 15 words per minute in Hindi. An ‘O’ Level computer certificate is also mandatory.
Application Fee
Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories applying for the UP Police SI and ASI recruitment 2025 will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 500. The application fee for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates is Rs. 400.
Salary Details: How much will the salary be?
Candidates selected in this recruitment will be paid a salary according to the 7th Pay Commission. The salary for the SI (Confidential) post will be in Pay Level 6, ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400, while the salary for the ASI (Clerk and Accounts) posts is fixed in Pay Level 5, ranging from ₹29,200 to ₹92,300. In addition to the basic salary, various allowances will also be provided as per government rules.
