Who can apply for the recruitment process?
The eligibility criteria for this recruitment are determined by subject. For engineering technical subjects, a BE, B.Tech, BS, or B.Arch degree from a recognized institute is mandatory. For non-engineering subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics, a master's degree in the relevant subject is required. Furthermore, candidates who have served in the Territorial Army for two years will also be given priority in this recruitment process. The minimum age for this recruitment process is 21 years and the maximum age is 40 years. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories as per the rules. Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2025.
What is the salary for UPPCS Polytechnic Lecturer positions?
Lecturers selected for UPPCS Polytechnic Lecturer positions will be paid a salary based on Pay Matrix Level 10. Depending on this level, the salary of a selected lecturer can range from ₹56,100 to ₹1,82,400 per month. In addition, lecturers will also receive DA, HRA, medical benefits, and other government benefits. Overall, the in-hand salary of selected candidates in this recruitment process could exceed ₹1 lakh. The selection process will be conducted in three stages: the first stage will be a written examination, the second stage will be an interview, and the third stage will be document verification. The written examination will carry 750 marks for a total of 250 questions. Both papers will be of two and a half hours duration, with one-third negative marking for each wrong answer.
