A major update has emerged for youths preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is set to release the recruitment notification for the PCS 2026 exam soon. According to reports, the application process could begin this week. Initially, appointments are likely to be made for approximately 750 posts. It is reported that technical issues affecting the online application system are currently being resolved, after which the notification will be issued.

As in previous years, the number of vacancies is expected to increase later on. For the 2025 recruitment, the initial notification was for 200 posts, a figure that eventually rose to 920. Similarly, the 2024 recruitment began with 220 posts and eventually reached 947.

**Next Stage of Computer Assistant Recruitment: Typing Test**
The recruitment process for 14 Computer Assistant posts is also progressing. The 169 candidates who qualified in the first stage of the examination must now take a Hindi typing test. The Commission has initiated the online application process for this stage, and candidates can apply until July 8.

**Deadline for Polytechnic Principal Recruitment**
The recruitment process for 21 Principal posts in polytechnic institutes under the Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Service is underway. Candidates who appeared for the written examination must now apply online for the next stage. The Commission has set July 7 as the deadline for this.

**Preparations Intensify for LT Grade (Computer) Main Exam**
The path is now clear for the main examination for the LT Grade (Assistant Teacher - Computer) recruitment in government secondary schools. The preliminary exam results were declared on May 16. Successful candidates have now begun preparing for the main exam, and the subsequent stages of the process are expected to commence soon.
