Big news for millions of young people waiting for jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has begun the Home Guard recruitment process from November 18, 2025. The deadline for applications is December 17. To apply, candidates must visit the UPPBPB's official website.

This recruitment drive will fill 41,424 positions in the state. Let's learn who can apply and the application fee.

To become a Home Guard, a candidate must have passed the 10th grade. Uploading a high school marksheet or certificate is mandatory when applying. Candidates who do not possess valid documents will be immediately rejected.

Regarding the age limit, the minimum age for general category candidates is 18 years and the maximum age is 30 years. Candidates in the SC, ST, and OBC categories will be given age relaxation as per government reservation rules, allowing them to apply even at an older age.

The application fee for the UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025 is determined by category. Candidates in the General, OBC, and EWS categories will have to pay ₹400. For SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates, the fee is ₹300.

For male candidates, the minimum height for General, SC, and OBC categories is 168 centimeters, while for ST candidates, the standard is 160 centimeters.

For female candidates, the minimum height for General, SC, and OBC categories is 152 centimeters, while for ST candidates, the minimum height is 147 centimeters. A minimum weight of 40 kilograms is required for female candidates in all categories.
