UP Teacher Vacancy: Applications for the teacher recruitment announced by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department are opening today, November 15th. A total of 1,262 posts have been announced for subjects like Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. Candidates can apply until December 5th. It has been stated that candidates who pass by January 30, 2026, will be issued appointment letters, and appointments will be made by February. What percentage of posts are reserved?
This time, the Basic Education Department has excluded 83 percent of posts from reservations. This means that the general category has the highest number of vacancies. Reservations will not apply in schools where fewer than three posts are open. This time, no vacancies are reserved for the disabled, veterans, or freedom fighters. Finally, save the application by clicking the submit button, accepting the declaration provided in the online application form.

After final saving, the candidate must enter their registration number and print the application using the OTP received on their mobile number.

Only those certificates related to educational and training qualifications, experience certificates, caste certificates, special reservation certificates, residence certificates, and no-objection certificates submitted by the candidates will be valid if they were submitted in the online application for the 2021 Selection Recruitment Examination.

Who cannot apply?

Only those who have been a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh for five years before the 2021 Principal/Assistant Teacher Selection Test (01.03.2021) advertisement date are eligible to apply.

A male candidate who has more than one wife alive will not be eligible for appointment, nor will a female candidate who is married to a man who already has one wife alive.

Candidates who have been expelled from the Union Government, any State Government, any local authority, or any other institution under the control of the Union Government or any State Government will not be eligible for appointment.

Anyone convicted in any case or in any other matter will also not be eligible for appointment and cannot apply.
