UP Teacher Recruitment: Important news for candidates applying for the 2021 Principal and Assistant Teacher Selection Examination for Non-Government Aided Junior High Schools. Due to technical difficulties, the previous online application dates have been changed. Candidates will now be able to submit their applications according to the new schedule.

The revised results for the 2021 Junior High School Principal/Assistant Teacher Selection Examination were released on September 6, 2022. Online applications for selection and appointment based on these results were to be accepted from November 15 to December 5, 2025, but due to technical issues with the server, these dates have been changed.

The vacancy details are as follows:
A total of 1262 posts are vacant for direct recruitment in non-government aided (aided) secondary schools. The subject-wise number of posts is as follows: 240 for Hindi, 145 for English, 99 for Sanskrit, 455 for Science-Mathematics, and 314 for Social Science. In total, the recruitment process will be conducted for 1,262 vacant posts across these subjects.

The Secondary Education Department has requested details of potential vacant posts in aided secondary schools by March 31, 2026. To this end, the department has issued instructions to all districts in the state.

Director of Secondary Education, Dr. Mahendra Dev, has stated that accurate information regarding vacant posts to be submitted to the Selection Commission should be provided promptly. He also clarified that it is mandatory to submit a certificate confirming the inclusion of all direct recruitment posts in the requisition within two days.
