UP Teacher Recruitment 2026: Applications open for 17,735 UP TGT posts; find out how to fill out the form..

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has announced a major recruitment drive for vacant teaching positions. The Commission has commenced online registration to fill 17,735 vacancies for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT). Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for this recruitment should visit the official website, upessc.up.gov.in, to complete the application process. The deadline for submitting the application form and paying the fee is November 23, 2026.

Check Eligibility for Recruitment
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject(s) from a recognized university/institution with at least 50% marks, or a postgraduate degree with at least 45% marks. Additionally, candidates must possess a B.Ed. degree and have qualified for the UPTET or CTET examination for the upper primary level (classes 6–8).

Age Limit
As of July 1, 2026, candidates must be at least 21 years old and no older than 62 years.
