UP Police SI 2025 Recruitment: UP Police Recruitment Board will soon close the application window for the 4543 posts of Sub Inspector. Interested and eligible candidates who have not yet applied can apply till September 11 by visiting the official website uppbpb.gov.in. The application process is open from August 12. The last date to adjust the fee deposited has been fixed as September 13, 2025.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have a graduation degree from a recognized university in India. Candidates with an equivalent degree recognized by the government can also apply.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 21 years

Maximum Age: 28 years

Date of Birth: Candidate should not be born before 2 July 1997 and after 1 July 2004.

Age calculation: Will be based on 1 July 2025.

Reservation and relaxation

Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules.

Apart from this, this time the recruitment board has given an additional relaxation of 3 years to all category candidates.

UP Police SI Selection Process 2025: Selection Process

Written Exam: Candidates will be selected first on the basis of the written examination. This exam will be of 400 marks, in which a total of 160 questions will be asked. The duration of the exam has been fixed for 2 hours (120 minutes). It will include questions related to General Hindi, Basic Law/Constitution/General Knowledge, Numerical and Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude, IQ, and Logical Ability.

Document and Physical Test: Candidates who are successful in the written examination will be called for document verification. After this, a physical test will be conducted in the last phase. Candidates who are successful in these three stages will be selected for the post of Sub Inspector (SI).
