UP Police: Will Agniveer reservation be implemented in UP Police recruitment? Know the rules and in which job exemption will be given...

UP Police Bharti: The UP government has announced that it will give reservation to Agniveers in government jobs in the state. Along with this, CM Yogi has also announced that Agniveers will also be given reservations in UP Police recruitment. On the other hand, the date of UP Police's big recruitment constable recruitment exam has also been announced. In such a situation, the candidates are confused about whether Agniveers will be given reservation in this recruitment as well...?
Since the announcement of the reservation to Agniveers, many candidates for the recruitment of 60,244 constables in UP Police have been confused about whether this new rule will apply to the ongoing recruitment. Candidates are afraid that if the provision of giving weightage to Agniveers is implemented in this recruitment, then their chances of getting a job will be reduced.
If you are also worried about the same, then do not worry, you do not need to panic, because this rule will not be applicable in this recruitment. Let's understand why...?
This is why Agniveers will not get reservations in this recruitment of UP Police.
The first batch of Agniveer recruitment joined the army in August 2023 after training. In this sense, four years of this batch will be completed in 2027. Then 75 percent of these Agniveers will be sent back. The remaining 25 percent will be appointed as permanent soldiers. These 75 percent Agniveer soldiers will be able to take advantage of the recruitments that will come out in the year 2027 or thereafter, and not UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024.
Announcement of the reservation to Agniveers in these states also
Apart from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Gujarat governments have also announced to give quota in jobs to former Agniveers. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government will bring a law for this.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai also announced that former Agniveers will be given reservations in jobs including police constable, and forest guard.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the state government will give preference to former Agniveers in police recruitment and other government recruitments.
It is worth noting that the Agniveers of the first batch will be able to apply for these recruitments in the year 2027.
