Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has started the recruitment process for Sub Inspector Civil Police and equivalent posts. The process of online application has started from 12 August 2025 and the last date to deposit the application fee is also 11 September 2025. Whereas the fee deposited can be adjusted till 13 September.
According to the Chairman of the Recruitment Board and DG SB Shirdkar, this recruitment includes 4,242 posts of constable civil police, 135 posts of Platoon Commander PAC, 60 posts of Platoon Commander Special Security Force and 106 posts of women platoon commander. Women posts will be filled in Lucknow, Badaun and Gorakhpur women PAC battalions.
This time, due to the Corona period and no SI recruitment for a long time, on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, candidates of all categories have been given an exception of 3 years in the maximum age limit. This relaxation is being given under the Uttar Pradesh Public Service (Relaxation in Age Limit for Recruitment) Rules-1992.
OTR is necessary
Before applying, the candidate must do One Time Registration (OTR). Biometric verification of the candidates will be done at all stages, in which photo, fingerprint and iris scan will be taken. Identity will be confirmed with Aadhaar based e-KYC and live photo will be captured while filling the application form.
