A total of 4,543 SI posts are to be recruited by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. Out of this, 4,242 SIs are to be recruited in the civil police. At the same time, 106 SIs are to be appointed in the Mahila Vahini, 135 in the Armed Police, and 60 in the Special Security Force.
