Applicants for the posts of Sub Inspector will be selected through a written, physical efficiency test, and document verification. Candidates who are successful in the exam will appear in the physical efficiency test. The written test will be of 400 marks. A total of 160 objective-type questions will be asked in the exam. Each section of the paper will have 40 questions, and the exam time will be 2 hours.

UP Police SI Vacancy 2025 Age Limit: What should be the age?
The age of the candidates applying for Police SI posts should be between 21 years to 28 years. Candidates of all categories have been given a relaxation of 3 years in the maximum age limit. Apart from this, SC and ST category candidates have also been given an additional relaxation of three years.
