The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has opened the application correction window for candidates who made mistakes while filling out their application forms. Candidates can correct their forms online within the stipulated time.

Vacancy Details

The UP Police Recruitment Board is going to fill a total of 32,679 posts in the state under this recruitment drive. Posts have been allocated for various units. There are 10,469 posts for Constable Civil Police (Male/Female), 15,131 posts for PAC (Male only), and 2,282 posts for Women PAC Battalion (Lucknow, Budaun, and Gorakhpur). In addition, there are 1,341 posts in the Special Security Force, 71 posts in the Mounted Police, 3,279 posts for Jail Warder (Male), and 106 posts for Jail Warder (Female).

What information can be updated in the form?

During the correction window, candidates can only update certain selected information in the application form. This may include spelling mistakes in the name or parents' names, errors related to date of birth, educational qualifications, category, address, and contact information. However, the board has clarified that no changes can be made to the information fetched from the OTR (One Time Registration) or the uploaded photograph.

According to UPPRPB, the correction window for the UP Police Constable recruitment 2026 will remain open until 6 AM on February 3, 2026.  No further opportunity for modifications will be given after this. Therefore, candidates should review their applications in time.

• Information fetched from OTR and the uploaded photo cannot be changed.
