UP Police Recruitment 2026: Apply immediately for UP Police SI and ASI posts, today is the last date to fill the form..

There's big news for young people dreaming of a government job in the police department. Recruitment is underway in Uttar Pradesh for Sub-Inspector (Confidential) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk/Accounts) positions, and the last date to apply is today, January 19th. Therefore, any young people who are eligible for these SI and ASI positions and haven't yet filled out the form should immediately visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) at uppbpb.gov.in and fill out the form online.

Eligibility for SI-ASI Posts
To apply for SI and ASI Clerk positions, candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognized university/institution. They must also have a Hindi typing speed of 25 words per minute, an English typing speed of 30 words per minute, and an 'O' Level certificate from DOEACC or NIELIT. The minimum age of the applicant should not be less than 21 years, and the maximum age should not be more than 28 years. The age will be calculated as of July 1, 2025.  Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation.

Application Fee
Along with filling out the application form for this recruitment, candidates from the Unreserved, EWS, and OBC categories will have to pay a fee of Rs. 500. The application fee for SC and ST categories is Rs. 400. The fee can be paid online.

Steps to Apply
To fill out the UP Police SI ASI Recruitment 2026 application form, first visit the official website uppbpb.gov.in.
On the website's homepage, click on the " Apply " link for SI-ASI recruitment.
Then click on registration and complete the OTR (One Time Registration).
Now, log in and fill in the other details to complete the form.
Pay the prescribed fee according to your category and submit the form.

537 Posts to be Filled
A total of 537 posts will be filled through this recruitment. Of the total posts, 112 are reserved for Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential), 311 for Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerical), and 114 for Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts).
