UP Police Constable Recruitment 2025-26: New police recruitment has been announced in UP. Applications have been invited for over 32,000 posts, including constables, jail warders, special security forces, cavalry, and other positions. Recently, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) released the notification for this recruitment. The application process has also begun today on the official website, uppbpb.gov.in.

What are the required qualifications?
Educational Qualification: Must have completed 12th grade from a recognized board or its equivalent qualification recognized by the government. Candidates who have appeared or are appearing for the 12th-grade examination will not be eligible.
Age Limit: Must have completed 18 years of age and not attained the age of 22 years as on July 1, 2025. This means that candidates must not have been born before July 2, 2003, and after July 1, 2007. Female candidates are 18-25 years old. They must not have attained the age of 25 by July 1, 2025. Those who are natives of Uttar Pradesh, OBCs, SC/STs, and other reserved categories are eligible for age relaxation as per the rules.
Height: General/OBC and SC male candidates must have a height of 168 cm. ST male candidates must have a height of 160 cm. Women must have a height of 152 cm, and ST women must have a height of 147 cm.
Selection Process: Written exam, document verification, physical standard test, physical efficiency test, and medical examination.
How to Apply?
To apply for police vacancies, candidates must complete an OTR (One Time Registration) before applying. This step is mandatory.
To do so, first visit the official website, uppbpb.gov.in.
Use your email ID and mobile number for OTR registration here. Upload documents using DigiLocker.
Follow this by entering your personal details. You will now need to create a password. Then, complete the registration process by entering the captcha.
Go to the re-apply link and enter your registration number and password.
Enter all the details required in the form correctly.
In the document upload section, you will need to upload a real-time photograph from a webcam. Your face should be clearly visible.
Signature in running letters using a black ink pen on white paper. After scanning, upload it in JPG/JPEG format with a size of 20KB to 50KB.
Then select your post preference. Pay the application fee and take a final printout of the application form.
Application Fee
General/EWS/OBC candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹500. Candidates from the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes will have to pay a fee of ₹400.
