UP Police Constable Vacancy: Good news for the new year! 32,679 constables will be recruited in the UP Police; the notification has been released..

On New Year's Day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's government gave a major gift to the youth. Recruitment will be held for 32,679 vacant constable positions in the UP Police. The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released an advertisement for recruitment to constable posts in the Police, PAC, UP SSF, Jail Warder, and Mounted Police. According to the notification, 10,469 posts will be filled for male and female candidates in the Civil Police. There are 15,131 vacancies for men in the PAC. In addition, there are 1,341 vacancies for male candidates in the UP SSF.

Online applications for this recruitment will be accepted from December 31, 2025, to January 30, 2026. The application form can be filled out on the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board website, uppbpb.gov.in. Before applying, candidates must register with the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board's One-Time Registration (OTR) system.

2,282 Vacancies in PAC Women's Battalion
According to the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, 2,282 female candidates will be recruited for the PAC Women's Battalion in Lucknow, Budaun, and Gorakhpur. There are also 106 vacancies for female Jail Warders. According to the notification, there are 71 vacancies for male candidates in the Mounted Police and 3,279 vacancies for male Jail Warders.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 12th standard from a recognized board.

Age Limit
The age limit for male candidates is 18 to 22 years and for female candidates, it is 18 to 25 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules.
