UP PCS 2025 interviews to begin on September 28; UPPSC releases details on posts and vacancies..

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released detailed information regarding the PCS 2025 posts. Just prior to the final stage of the selection process, the Commission has provided details of 814 vacancies across the 28 types of posts included in the recruitment drive. This includes 34 vacancies for Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) and 56 for Deputy Superintendent of Police (Deputy SP).

The PCS 2025 recruitment covers vacancies across various departments, including administration, police, revenue, development, labor, and food safety. The highest number of vacancies—123—is for the post of Excise Inspector. Additionally, there are 105 vacancies for Naib Tehsildar, 92 for Treasury Officer and Accounts Officer, and 85 for Block Development Officer. Other vacancies include 72 for Food Safety Officer, 45 for Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax), 35 for ARTO, and 37 for Labor Enforcement Officer.

**2,297 Candidates to Appear for PCS Interview**

A total of 10,284 candidates appeared for the UP PCS 2025 Main Examination, out of whom 2,297 were successful. These candidates will now appear for the interview. The interviews will be conducted from September 28 to October 24, spanning 19 working days and held in two shifts. The first session will begin at 9:30 AM, while the second session will start at 2:00 PM. The Commission has released the interview schedule based on candidates' roll numbers. Notably, marks from both the interview and the Main Examination will be combined for the final selection.

The results of the UP PCS Main Examination were declared on September 17. The examination was held from March 29, 2026, to April 1, 2026, at centers established in Prayagraj and Lucknow.

**Where Will the PCS Interview Take Place?**

Candidates scheduled for the first shift must report to the Commission's office, 'Saraswati Bhawan' in Prayagraj, by 8:00 AM. Those scheduled for the second shift must arrive by 12:30 PM. Candidates are required to carry the original copies of all mark sheets, degrees, and certificates related to their educational qualifications for the interview.
