UP Recruitment 2026: The UPSSSC has issued a notification for the recruitment of 2,759 posts for Technical Assistant (Group C), for which candidates who have passed the PET 2025 examination will be eligible to apply.

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released a new notification regarding the recruitment of Technical Assistant (Group C) posts. Under this recruitment drive, a total of 2,759 vacancies will be filled, potentially providing employment opportunities to a large number of candidates.

According to the information released by the Commission, only those candidates who have successfully passed the PET 2025 examination will be eligible to apply for this recruitment. Specifically, it has also been clarified that candidates with a PET score of zero or a negative score will not be included in this selection process. Therefore, candidates are strongly advised to verify their scores before applying.

The online application process is scheduled to commence on May 2, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates may apply by visiting the Commission's official website: upsssc.gov.in. Applications will be accepted exclusively through the online mode.

Regarding the distribution of vacancies, 1,692 seats have been reserved for the General Category in this recruitment drive. Additionally, 573 posts have been allocated for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 213 posts for Scheduled Castes (SC), 6 posts for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 275 posts for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).

One of the most attractive features of this job is the salary package. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100. Furthermore, other government allowances and benefits will be provided, making this position even more appealing.

As for the selection process, candidates will be selected through a Main Examination following an initial shortlisting based on their PET scores. In other words, candidates will first be selected based on their PET scores, and subsequently, they will be given the opportunity to appear for the Main Examination. The final selection will depend entirely on their performance in the Main Examination.
