UP Jobs 2025: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released vacancies for 182 posts for Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Recruitment 2025. The application process will start from 16 September and will run till 16 October.

UPPSC Jobs 2025: A golden opportunity has come for the youth of Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released a brief advertisement for Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Recruitment Exam 2025. A total of 182 posts will be filled through this recruitment. The application process will start from 16 September 2025, and candidates will be able to apply online till 16 October 2025. The commission has also made it clear that the last date for correction in the application form and resolution of problems related to fees will be 24 October 2025.

The detailed advertisement of the commission will be available on the official website of UPPSC uppsc.up.nic.in from September 16. It will provide all the information like the process of applying online, method of depositing fees, rules related to reservation and age relaxation, exam scheme, and syllabus. The commission has asked the candidates to read the detailed advertisement carefully and apply only if they fulfill all the eligibility conditions.

What should be the age?

The number of posts fixed for this recruitment may increase or decrease according to the circumstances and need. Currently 182 posts have been fixed, but it is possible to change. Talking about the age limit, only those candidates will be able to appear in this examination whose age should be minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years by 1 July 2025. That is, they should not be born before 2 July 1985 and after 1 July 2004. Divyang candidates and reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules.

The Commission will give detailed information related to educational qualification in the detailed advertisement to be issued on September 16. However, generally there are law related degrees and necessary conditions for this post. Last time in April 2022, advertisements were issued for 69 posts of Assistant Prosecution Officer. At that time the Commission had also conducted interviews along with preliminary and main examination. The entire selection process was completed in about 14 months and the final result was declared in June 2023. This time also the candidates hope that the recruitment process will be completed on time.
