UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025 Notification: A notification has been issued for more than 41,000 Home Guard vacancies in Uttar Pradesh. Young people preparing for government jobs have been waiting for the Home Guard recruitment for a long time, and today the wait is over. The board has provided information on district-wise Home Guard vacancies. The highest number of vacancies, 1,947, is in Kanpur Nagar district.

Total 41,424 UP Home Guard Vacancies
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (uppbpb) has released the Home Guard Recruitment 2025 notification on its official website, uppbpb.gov.in. If you are also preparing for a government job, you can check the necessary recruitment information by visiting the website. A total of 41,424 vacant posts will be filled through this recruitment drive.

Applications will be accepted until December 17th.
The online application process for UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025 began on November 18th. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the online application form by visiting the board's official website, uppbpb.gov.in. Candidates must complete their One-Time Registration (OTR) registration before applying.

How to complete One-Time Registration?

Now enter your email address and generate an OTP. Similarly, an OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Verify it.
After verification, fill in your personal information.

UP Home Guard Eligibility 2025: Who Can Apply
Educational Qualification: A minimum 10th-grade pass from a recognized board is required. However, an equivalent qualification approved by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education is required. Candidates appearing for the 10th-grade examination are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Eligible candidates must be at least 18 years of age and not more than 30 years of age as of July 1, 2025. However, age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per government regulations.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on a written examination, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Document Verification (DV).

UP Home Guard Written Exam
There will be 100 General Knowledge questions, each carrying one mark, and the exam duration will be 2 hours. A minimum of 25 marks is required in the written exam; otherwise you will be considered unfit for the next round.

Physical Standard Test (PST)
Height: 168 cm for men, 152 cm for women. (160 cm for men in reserved categories and 147 cm for women)
Chest: 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm with expansion, 77-82 cm for reserved categories. At least 5 cm of expansion is mandatory.
Weight: Minimum 40 kg for women.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Male candidates: 4.8 km run (28 minutes)
Female candidates: 2.4 km run (16 minutes)

Application Fee
General, OBC, and EWS category candidates must pay an application fee of ₹400, while SC and ST candidates must pay ₹300. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the website for more details.
