According to the government order in Uttar Pradesh, applications are open for 41,424 vacant Home Guard positions across all districts of the state. According to information received from the department, there is strong competition for this recruitment. So far, more than 7 lakh candidates have applied for the Home Guard volunteer positions.
More than 10 lakh applications expected?
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has set December 17th as the last date for applying for the UP Home Guard recruitment. Therefore, it is expected that more than 10 lakh applications may be received for this recruitment.
Eligibility for Home Guard positions
To apply for UP Home Guard positions, candidates must have passed the 10th grade. The candidate's age should be between 18 years and a maximum of 30 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per rules.
Candidates with NCC and Bharat Scouts and Guides certificates will receive one to three bonus points. Holders of Disaster Management training certificates will receive three points, and holders of a four-wheeler driving license will receive one additional point.
The candidate must be a resident of the district for which they are applying.

Then, click on registration and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR).
Now, log in and fill in the other details to complete the form.
Submit the prescribed fee according to your category and submit the form.
Along with filling out the application form, candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories will have to pay a fee of Rs. 400. The application fee for SC and ST categories is Rs. 300. The application fee can be paid online.
