UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025: A distinctly different scenario is unfolding regarding the Home Guard recruitment examination in Uttar Pradesh this time around. For this recruitment drive, which aims to fill 41,424 vacancies, the government has made it unequivocally clear that cheating or irregularities of any kind will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Consequently, security arrangements of such stringency have been implemented even before the examination begins, so that every single step can be monitored. More than 2.5 million candidates are expected to appear for this examination, scheduled to be held on April 25, 26, and 27. Conducted across 1,053 centers, this examination has evolved into a test not merely of recruitment, but of transparency itself.

**Strict Security Arrangements**
This time, absolutely no laxity has been permitted regarding security for the examination. Senior police officials have been assigned specific responsibilities in every district. One Inspector or Sub-Inspector will be deployed for every 240 candidates. Candidates will undergo screening via metal detectors at the entrance gates of the centers, and female candidates will be frisked separately by female police personnel.

**Question Papers Under Constant Surveillance**
The question papers have been secured within a double-lock system, with the keys held by different officials. The strong rooms are equipped with an uninterrupted power supply, internet connectivity, and comprehensive security measures at all times. A designated route has been established for transporting the papers to the examination centers, and dry runs have already been conducted to ensure smooth logistics. Taking photographs during this entire process is strictly prohibited.

**CCTV Surveillance and Biometric Verification**
Every examination center and strong room will be kept under continuous surveillance via CCTV cameras. Arrangements have also been made for Aadhaar-based e-KYC and iris scanning to verify the identity of the candidates. This measure aims to curb attempts by impostors to appear for the examination fraudulently.

**Permitted Items**
Candidates are permitted to carry only their admit cards, a valid identity proof, and a blue or black pen. Carrying watches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, or any other electronic gadgets inside the examination hall is strictly forbidden. Seating arrangements and general examination protocols will also be enforced with strict rigor.

**Preparedness for Crowd Management and Emergencies**
Police personnel will be deployed at railway stations and bus stands to manage the crowds of candidates. Ambulances and UP-112 emergency response vehicles will also be stationed in the vicinity of the examination centers to handle any potential emergencies. Social media will also be monitored to ensure that no rumors spread.
