The application process is underway for 41,424 vacant Home Guard positions in Uttar Pradesh. Important information has been shared by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) for candidates who applied for this recruitment by December 1st.

According to the notice, candidates who applied by December 1st are requested to make corrections to sub-points 2 and 5 of point 15 - "Declaration" under "Additional Details" in the application form, where a YES or NO option is provided.  These candidates will now be given an opportunity to correct these points.

When can corrections be made?
Candidates who applied before December 1st will be allowed to correct their forms after the application process is complete. Therefore, candidates will be able to make corrections after the application deadline.

Last date to fill the form is December 17th
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the UP Home Guard recruitment and have not yet filled out the form should complete the application process as soon as possible. The last date to fill out the application form is December 17, 2025.

Steps to apply
To fill out the application form, first visit the official website.
On the website's homepage, click on the Home Guard recruitment application link.

Then, click on registration and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR).

Now, log in and fill in the other details to complete the form.

Pay the prescribed fee according to your category and submit the form.

Eligibility and Criteria
To apply for the UP Home Guard positions, candidates must have passed the 10th grade. The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 30 years. The age will be calculated from the date the registration starts. Candidates with NCC or Bharat Scouts and Guides certificates will receive one to three bonus points. Holders of a Disaster Management Training certificate will receive three points, and holders of a four-wheeler driving license will receive one additional point. The candidate must be a resident of the district for which they are applying.
