UP Havildar Recruitment 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is set to recruit candidates for the posts of Havildar Instructor. The official notification for this recruitment process has been released. According to the notification, a total of 209 posts for Havildar Instructors are to be filled. The application process will commence on June 19 and is scheduled to continue until July 9, 2026. Candidates aspiring to work with the UP Police are advised to apply immediately.

**Who Can Apply?**
According to the notification, candidates eligible to apply for this post are those who possess a valid UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 scorecard.
Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized educational institution in India.
Candidates must meet a minimum age requirement of 18 years.
The maximum age limit for candidates must not exceed 40 years.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with applicable rules.
An application fee is required to be paid at the time of application. The application fee has been fixed at ₹25 for all categories, including General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and PH.

**What is the Selection Process?**
Candidates will first be shortlisted based on their UPSSSC PET 2025 scores.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for a Main Written Examination.
Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the Physical Measurement Test/Physical Efficiency Test (PMT/PET) stage.
Candidates who are selected will be called for document verification. Subsequently, the final merit list will be released.
