UP Government Jobs: Numerous government jobs have been announced in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released a large number of vacancies for Lekhpal (Revenue Officer) positions. The application process has officially begun. A total of 7996 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. This recruitment will fill thousands of vacant Lekhpal positions in the Revenue Department, which have been pending for a long time. Of the total Lekhpal positions, 3205 are for the unreserved category, 1679 for Scheduled Castes, 160 for Scheduled Tribes, 2158 for Other Backward Classes, and 792 for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Who can apply for this recruitment?
Candidates must have passed the 12th class (Intermediate) examination from any recognized board. Additionally, candidates must have passed the UPSSSC PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test) and possess a valid scorecard. Selection for the main examination will be based on the PET score. The age limit for this recruitment is 18 to 40 years. Relaxations will be provided to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other reserved categories as per government rules.
