UP Assistant Professor Recruitment: Educational qualification changed, read details here

The application process is going on for recruitment to Assistant Professor B.Ed posts in Uttar Pradesh. The registration process going on by the Uttar Pradesh Shiksha Seva Selection Commission will be closed soon. In such a situation, all the interested candidates who have not been able to apply for it yet due to some reason, should go to the official website and apply as soon as possible. The educational qualification of this recruitment has been amended. A notice has been issued on the official website in this regard.

According to the notice issued, the amendment can be read as follows-

(1) Master's degree with minimum 55% marks in Science / Mathematics / Commerce / Social Sciences / Humanities and M.Ed. degree with minimum 55% marks.

OR

Master's degree in Science/Maths/Commerce/Social Science/Humanities with minimum 55% marks and Masters degree in Pedagogy with minimum 55% marks and B.Ed. or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks.

(ii) Passed National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) conducted by UGC in Pedagogy

OR

(2) Candidates holding PhD or DPhil degree in Pedagogy who have obtained PhD degree as per University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Obtaining PhD Degree) Regulations-2009.

Salary Details

The permissible salary for this recruitment is Rs. 15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs. 6000. Also, allowances payable from time to time will be decided by the State Government.

What is the application fee?

General category candidates applying for this recruitment will have to pay an application fee of Rs 2000. Economically weaker and other backward class candidates will have to pay Rs 2000 as application fee. At the same time, candidates of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category will have to pay Rs 1000.
