The deadline to apply for Apprenticeship positions at Union Bank of India is fast approaching. Candidates who wish to undergo training as Apprentices at Union Bank of India may apply for this recruitment drive only until May 19, 2026. According to the official notification, recruitment will be conducted for a total of 1,865 Apprentice vacancies. As the application deadline is drawing near, all candidates are strongly advised to complete the application process well before the stipulated time.

**Eligibility Criteria for Application**
To apply, candidates must meet a minimum age requirement of 20 years. Additionally, the maximum age limit for candidates has been set at 28 years. The age of the candidates will be calculated based on April 1, 2026.

Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted specific age relaxations. SC and ST candidates will receive an age relaxation of five years; OBC candidates, three years; and candidates with disabilities, 10 years.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in India.

**Selection Process**
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination and a Local Language Proficiency Test. In the written examination, candidates will be asked 100 questions, carrying a total of 100 marks, covering topics such as Financial and General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Computers, and relevant subject-specific knowledge. Candidates who qualify in this examination will be invited to appear for the Local Language Proficiency Test.

**Stipend Details**
The duration of the apprenticeship program has been fixed at one year. Candidates will receive a stipend throughout this one year. Candidates residing in rural and semi-rural areas will be provided a monthly stipend of ₹15,000; those in urban areas, ₹18,000 per month; and those in metropolitan cities, ₹20,000 per month.
