What are the educational qualifications?

Specific qualifications have been prescribed for each post.

Accountant: B.Com along with MBA (Finance)/PGDBA (Finance) or M.Com, plus relevant experience.
Assistant Accountant: B.Com, BBA, or a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy. Additionally, computer proficiency is required; a typing speed of 4,000 key depressions per hour and a computer certificate are mandatory where applicable.
Office Assistant-III (Accounts): B.Com, a one-year computer diploma, and knowledge of Hindi/English typing.
Cashier-cum-Assistant Accountant: B.Com or equivalent qualification and knowledge of accounting work.

Age Limit
The general age limit for this recruitment is set between 18 and 42 years. However, while the minimum age for most posts is 21 years, the minimum age for the post of Assistant Accountant/Junior Auditor at Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan is 18 years.

Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2026. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per the rules.

What is the salary?
Selected candidates will receive a salary in the range of Level-4 to Level-6, depending on the post.

Accountant: ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 (Level-6)
Assistant Accountant: ₹29,200 to ₹94,300 or ₹29,800 to ₹94,300 (depending on the department)
Office Assistant-III (Accounts): ₹27,200 to ₹86,100 (Level-4)
Cashier-cum-Assistant Accountant: ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 (Level-4)
