UKSSSC Constable Recruitment 2024: Recruitment for 2000 constable posts in Uttarakhand, know all the details including the selection process..

Uttarakhand Police has released vacancies for thousands of constable posts, for which the application process has also started. Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission i.e. UKSSSC has started the registration process for Uttarakhand District Police Constable (Male) and Constable PAC/IRB (Male) Exam 2024 from 8 November 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts by visiting the official website of UKSSSC sssc.uk.gov.in. The last date to apply is 29 November 2024. Under this recruitment campaign, a total of 2 thousand posts of constable will be filled across the state.

UKSSSC Constable Recruitment 2024: What is the selection process?

Candidates will have to pass the exam for recruitment to these posts. The exam will be 2 hours, in which objective type multiple choice questions of 100 marks will be asked. In this exam, questions related to the educational qualification of the post will be asked. Each question will have four answer options. Candidates have to choose the correct answer from the 4 answer options. Keep in mind, that one-fourth marks will be deducted for every wrong answer given by the candidates, that is, there will also be negative marks in this exam.

To pass the exam, the candidates of the General and OBC categories must get at least 45 percent marks, and candidates of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories to get at least 35 percent marks.

However, before the written examination, the candidates will have to appear in the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test. Only after being successful in this, they will be allowed to appear in the written examination. Physical Standard Tests and Physical Efficiency Tests include height, chest measurement, cricket ball throw, long jump, push-ups running, etc.

UKSSSC Constable Vacancy 2024: What is the application fee?

Unreserved/OBC category candidates will have to pay Rs 300 as an application fee, while SC/ST/EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 150. The fee must be paid online.
