UKSSSC: Bumper recruitment for constable posts in Uttarakhand; Apply from November 8, know eligibility and vacancies..

UKSSSC Recruitment 2024: Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has released a notification for recruitment to Group 'C' Constable District Police (Male) and Constable PAC/IRB (Male) posts. Eligible candidates can apply for the posts through the official website sssc.uk.gov.in from November 8 to November 29, 2024.

This recruitment aims to recruit 2000 vacancies - 1600 posts of Constable District Police (Male) of Group 'C' and 400 vacancies of Constable PAC/IRB (Male). The provisional date of written examination is June 15, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed the Intermediate Examination or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education, Ramnagar, Nainital to apply. Apart from this, in case of direct recruitment, preference will be given to the candidate who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or has obtained a "B" certificate from the National Cadet Corps.

Candidates between the age of 18 years and 22 years can apply for these posts. At the same time, SC, ST, and OBC category candidates of Uttarakhand will get a maximum relaxation of five years.

This much salary will be given.
The candidates selected for these posts of Uttarakhand Police will get a salary as per the pay scale 21700-69100 (Level-3).

Selection process
The selection process for these posts will be in two phases. In the first phase, there will be a qualifying physical standard test. After this, the physical efficiency test of the candidates who pass the physical standard test will be taken. In the second phase, there will be a written competitive examination of the candidates who pass the physical efficiency test.
