UKPSC Vacancy: The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has announced recruitment for 808 vacant lecturer positions. The commission has released the notification for the Uttarakhand Special Subordinate Education (Lecturer Cadre Group-C) (General Branch and Women's Branch) Service Examination 2025. Online applications for lecturer positions under the General and Women's branches can be submitted from December 31st to January 20th.
According to the notification, recruitment will be conducted for 725 positions in 15 subjects under the General Branch and 83 positions in 12 subjects under the Women's Branch. Applicants will be able to modify their application forms from January 28th to February 6th, 2026.
According to the notification, recruitment in the General Branch will be for Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Civics, Economics, History, Geography, Sociology, Art, Commerce, and Agricultural Science subjects. The Women's Branch includes Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Civics, Economics, History, Geography, and Home Science subjects.
No need to reapply
The recruitment advertisement states that candidates who applied online for the lecturer position in response to the previously issued advertisement number A-3/S-1/DR(L.I.C)/2024, dated October 18, 2024, do not need to apply again for this advertisement. The applications previously submitted by these candidates for the positions in question (excluding the Art subject) will be considered valid.
The previous application fee will not be refunded.
The commission has stated that those who applied in response to the previously published advertisement but wish to apply again can cancel their previous application and submit a new one. However, the previous fee will not be refunded.

According to the notice issued by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, all online applications for Lecturer-Art, General Branch, submitted in response to the advertisement dated October 18, 2024, have been cancelled. Candidates possessing the essential educational qualifications mentioned in the currently published advertisement for the posts advertised under the Spokesperson-Arts General Branch can apply in response to the advertisement dated December 30, 2025.
