UKPSC Recruitment 2025: The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has invited applications for 692 Principal positions in government schools and intercolleges across the state. The application process is ongoing. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official website, ukpscnet.in.

The application process will begin on September 22, 2025, and continue until October 12, 2025. After the completion of the application process, the online application form will be available for revisions or changes from October 18, 2025, to October 27, 2025.

Eligibility Required for Application
Principal/Headmistress: Principals or Headmistresses who are permanently appointed in Uttarakhand government schools and inter colleges and have completed continuous service as of the first day of the recruitment year are eligible for the departmental examination. Male Principals must have at least 22 years of satisfactory service, and female Principals must have at least 2 years of satisfactory service. Additionally, educational and training qualifications as per Rule 8 are mandatory.

Lecturers: Lecturers in Government Intermediate Colleges and Girls Intermediate Colleges who have completed at least 10 years of continuous and satisfactory service as of the first day of the recruitment year and possess the required educational/training qualifications as per Rule 8 are also eligible for the departmental examination. If the lecturer has completed 15 years of service, including the Assistant Teacher/Teacher (LT), they may also appear for the examination.

Assistant Teacher/Teacher (LT): Assistant Teacher/Teacher (LT) in Government Higher Secondary Schools and Intermediate Colleges who have completed at least 15 years of continuous and satisfactory service in the post and have fulfilled the educational/training qualifications as per the rules may appear for the departmental examination. Proof of service will be issued by the relevant appointing authority.

Age Limit Requirements
The maximum age limit for candidates in this recruitment is 55 years. Age will be calculated as of July 1, 2025. This means that the candidate's date of birth must not be earlier than July 2, 1970. This means that the candidate must not be older than 55 years of age on July 1, 2025. Age relaxation will be provided for reserved category candidates.

Salary:
The pay scale for selected candidates in this recruitment will be as per Pay Level-12, which ranges from ₹78,800 to ₹2,09,200. This salary will be inclusive of regular grade pay and other allowances as per government recruitment rules. Candidates will receive the initial salary along with all prescribed allowances based on their experience and qualifications.
