UIDAI Section Officer Vacancy 2025: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has invited applications from eligible government officers for the post of Section Officer. This position will be filled on a deputation basis at the UIDAI Technology Centre, Bengaluru. The selected officer will play a role in the development of policies, processes, and systems related to Aadhaar number issuance, as well as authentication-related activities.

UIDAI Section Officer Eligibility: Who can apply?
The following officers are eligible to apply:

Officers of the Central Government holding analogous posts regularly in their parent cadre/department, or officers with 3 years of regular service in Pay Matrix Level-7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400) or 5 years of regular service in Pay Matrix Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400).

Additionally, officers working in State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), or Autonomous Organizations holding regular posts of equivalent grade and possessing the requisite experience are also eligible to apply.

The maximum age of the candidate should not exceed 56 years as of the last date of application.

Desirable Qualifications
Officers with experience in the following areas will be given preference:

Administration
Legal work
Establishment
Human Resources (HR)
Finance/Accounts/Budget
Vigilance
Procurement
Planning and Policy Formulation
Project Implementation and Monitoring
e-Governance

Furthermore, candidates with basic knowledge of working in a computerized office environment may have an advantage in the selection process.

UIDAI Section Officer Salary: Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive a salary in Pay Matrix Level-8 under the 7th Central Pay Commission.
