UCSL Vacancy 2025: Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL) has announced recruitment for trainee positions for engineering diploma holders. This notification includes a total of 16 positions across both mechanical and electrical branches. Required Qualifications
For the UCSL Diploma Engineering Trainee Recruitment 2025, candidates must have a 3-year diploma in the relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks. Mechanical positions require a Diploma (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering. Electrical positions require a Diploma (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.

Age Limit
The maximum age limit for candidates is 25 years as of the application deadline of December 18, 2025, meaning applicants must have been born on or after December 19, 2000.

Age relaxations are also available for reserved categories as per government regulations. OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates are eligible for a 3-year upper age limit, while SC and ST candidates are eligible for a 5-year upper age limit.

How much stipend will be awarded?

Diploma engineering trainees selected at UCSL will complete a two-year training period, receiving a stipend of ₹20,000 per month during the first year and ₹23,000 per month during the second year.

Upon completion of training, candidates will be considered for a supervisory position in the TS-1 grade, with a starting basic salary of ₹28,000. Upon hiring, the total starting salary can reach approximately ₹55,104 per month, with an annual CTC of approximately ₹8 lakh.
