Today is the last day for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) to apply for the Senior Resident and Tutor positions. Candidates who have not yet applied can do so online until 10 pm today, October 4, 2025. Applications can be made by visiting the board's official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

Under this recruitment drive, eligible candidates will be selected for a total of 193 positions. These appointments will be made in various medical colleges and hospitals across the state. Eligible candidates for the Senior Resident and Tutor positions will be selected based on interviews and document verification.

What are the required qualifications?

To apply for these positions, candidates must have a postgraduate degree from a recognized university or institute in India. A registration certificate from the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council is also mandatory. Candidates must also have teaching or clinical experience in the relevant field. If you have degrees such as MD, MS, DNB, DM, or MCH, you can apply.

Age Limit and Relaxations

The maximum age for applying is 37 years for male candidates, 40 years for women in the General and OBC categories, and 42 years for SC and ST candidates.

Disabled candidates are given an additional 10-year relaxation.

Application Fee

Candidates from all categories are required to pay an interview fee at the time of application. This fee is ₹2,250, which can be paid online. This fee applies to all General, OBC, EWS, SC, and ST candidates.
