How many positions and in which categories?
The Intelligence Bureau has announced recruitment for a total of 258 ACIO Grade-II and Tech positions. Most of these positions are in the electronics and communications field. These include 114 UR (unreserved) positions, 68 OBC positions, 37 SC positions, 18 ST positions, and 21 EWS positions. The last date to apply for all these positions is November 16th. No applications will be accepted after that date. Candidates must be qualified in technical fields, including a degree in Electronics, Electronics and Communications, Electrical and Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering. The most important aspect of this recruitment is that there will be no written exam. Candidates will be selected based on their GATE scores, and the scores must be in Electronics and Communications (EC) or Computer Science and IT (CS).
How much will the salary be?
Candidates selected for this position receive a very good salary under Pay Level-7. The pay scale ranges from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400, which clearly indicates a good income and stable career opportunities from the very beginning. Candidates applying for this position must be between 18 and 27 years of age. However, age relaxation is provided for reserved categories as per government regulations. SC and ST candidates receive an additional 5 years, and OBC candidates receive an additional 3 years.
