TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2025: Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has started the online registration-cum-application process for the Sub-Inspector of Police (Taluk and Armed Reserve) recruitment drive. Around 1300 vacancies are to be filled. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website tnusrb.tn.gov.in.

TNUSRB SI Vacancy 2025: Vacancy Details and Salary
The registration process will end on May 3, 2025. The last date to correct the application submitted online is May 13, 2025. The vacancy details are as follows:

Sub Inspector of Police (Taluk): Total 933 posts (Male-654, Female-279)

Sub Inspector of Police (AR): Total 366 posts (Male-255, Female-111)

Sub Inspector of Police (Vacancies Less): Total 53 posts, 10 for SC and 43 for ST.

Pay Scale: Rs 36,900 – Rs 1,16,600 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a graduation degree from any university recognized by UGC/Government on or before the date of notification. The graduation degree should be obtained in the following pattern:-

After completing SSLC and Higher Secondary Course in the order of 10+2+3/4/5 pattern or

After completing SSLC and Diploma in the order of 10+3+2/10+3+3 pattern or

After completing SSLC and 2 years ITI in the order of 10+2+3 pattern.

The graduation degree can be obtained from Open University/Distance Education/College. However, the open degree must be obtained as per the pattern mentioned above.

The age of the candidate should have completed 20 years and should not be more than 30 years as of 1st July 2025 (the candidate must have been born on or after 02.07.1995 and on or before 01.07.2005).

Candidates who have passed the 10th class directly without studying the 9th class or passed the 12th class directly without studying the 11th class are not eligible.

Selection Process
The selection process consists of a written exam in two parts.

Part I Tamil Language Eligibility Test of 100 marks

Part II Main Written Exam
This will be followed by a Physical Measurement Test Physical Efficiency Test, Oral Test, and Special Marks.

Exam Fee
The registration fee for departmental or open quota is Rs 500. If a departmental candidate applies for both open quota and departmental quota, he/she will have to pay an exam fee of Rs 1000. Payment is possible only through online mode.
