Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission i.e. TNPSC has once again increased the number of vacancies to be filled through the Group 4 Service Recruitment Examination. Recently the result of this examination was declared. This recruitment examination was originally conducted for recruitment to 6,244 posts, but later the number of vacancies was increased to 9,491. The commission first added 480 more posts to the original 6,244 posts on September 11 and then again 2,208 posts were added to it on 9 October and now on October 28, on the day of the result, another 559 posts have been added to it.

Candidates can visit the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission website tnpsc.gov.in to check TNPSC Group 4 Result 2024 and complete details of the vacancy. The Tamil Nadu Combined Civil Services Examination (CCSE) for Group 4 services was conducted on 9 June 2024 and the result was released on 28 October. The marks and rank positions of the qualified candidates are available on the websites tnpscresults.tn.gov.in and tnpscexams.in.

TNPSC Group 4 Recruitment 2024: How will the candidates be selected?

Candidates will be selected for certificate verification from the rank list as per the ratio decided by the selection board and based on their application form, details, and appointment quota rules. The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the TNPSC website and information about it will be given to them through SMS and email.

Tamil Nadu Group 4 Recruitment 2024: What was the pattern of the exam?

The questions asked in the Group 4 exam paper were of 10th level. The paper was held in two parts. The first part was the Tamil Eligibility Low Scoring Test, in which 100 questions of 150 marks were asked. At the same time, the second part had two sections, in which 75 questions of General Studies and 25 questions of Aptitude and Mental Ability Tests were asked for 150 marks. Only those candidates who passed the first part of the paper by securing 40% or 60 marks were eligible for the evaluation of the second part. The commission reviewed the marks of both parts of the paper to prepare the rank list.
