The Department of Labor and Employment is organizing a Rojgar Mahakumbh on October 14th and 15th at the Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT) in Gorakhpur, where youth will have the opportunity to find jobs in countries like the UAE and Oman.

A total of approximately 10,655 positions will be filled. Several prestigious companies from the UAE and Oman are participating in this employment mega-event organized by foreign companies. These companies are primarily involved in the construction and engineering sectors. The positions for which youth will be recruited include construction worker, supervisor rigging, mobile pump operator, transit mixer driver, civil foreman, heavy truck driver, bus driver, shuttering carpenter, camp boss, steel fixer, and construction helper.

What will be the salary?

According to reports, a rigging supervisor will receive a salary of approximately ₹120,760 per month. Mobile pump operators will receive a monthly salary of ₹90,643, transit mixer drivers ₹72,514, civil foreman ₹66,422, heavy truck drivers ₹58,011, bus drivers ₹53,177, shuttering carpenters ₹28,800, and construction helpers ₹24,000. All selected candidates will also receive free board and lodging.
