Candidates holding a valid and current Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued by the DGCA may be granted an age relaxation in the upper age limit, up to a maximum of 26 years.
Selection Process and Training
For the AFCAT entry, the Indian Air Force will prepare a list of candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in the online AFCAT written test. From this group, candidates declared successful will be called for further assessment by the Air Force Selection Board. This will be followed by an interview. Finally, a merit list will be prepared.
