TGT-PGT Teacher Recruitment 2024: The dream of becoming a TGT-PGT teacher in high school and intermediate can be fulfilled. The Directorate of Secondary Education of Assam has released recruitment for more than nine thousand posts of TGT and PGT. The process of online application for this has also started. Application has to be done by visiting the official website madhyamik.assam.gov.in. Through this recruitment, 8004 TGT and 1385 PGT teachers will be appointed. The last date to apply for this recruitment is 15 November.

Application fee for TGT and PGT recruitment
Unreserved category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500 for TGT and PGT recruitment. Whereas the application fee for SC / ST / Divyang category candidates is Rs 350.

Qualification for TGT and PGT
For TGT, candidates must have graduated in the relevant subject with 50% marks. Fourth, one must have done B.Ed from an institute recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education. Whereas for PGT, one must have done a B.Ed along with a PG in the relevant subject. For more information, see the notification.

How much salary will be given
TGT - TGT teachers will get a salary according to Rs 14,000 /- to Rs 7,0000- and grade pay Rs 8700 per month. Along with this, other allowances will also be given.

PGT- PGT teachers will get a salary according to Rs 22,000 /- to Rs 97000 /- and grade pay Rs 11,800 /- per month.
