Delhi CM SHRI School Teacher Recruitment: The Delhi government has launched a special recruitment drive for the appointment of teachers in the proposed 75 CM Shri schools in the capital. These schools are to be started within the next year. The Directorate of Education has issued an official circular in this regard.

According to the circular, teachers working in existing Delhi government schools can join these schools through transfer. Applications have been sought for this under a special interface process.

Recruitment will be done on many posts including PGT, TGT, and PRT.

These schools have vacancies for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), Primary Teachers (PRT), and other teaching posts. Interested teachers can apply through email till 11:59 pm on June 9. The condition has been kept that the applying teacher should have at least five years left in retirement.

The circular states that the interface session will be organized for PRT and TGT on June 11 and for PGT and teachers of other subjects on June 12. These sessions will start at 10 am.

An official informed that out of these 75 CM Shri schools, 12 schools will be completely new, while the remaining 63 schools will be set up in existing government buildings, which will be redeveloped and equipped as per modern standards.

The CM Shri School Scheme was announced in the Delhi Budget 2025-26, in which a provision of Rs 100 crore has been made for the establishment of these schools. These schools will be developed on the lines of the PM Shri School Scheme of the Central Government.

The scheme aims to strengthen the education system in line with the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework 2023. Modern courses like smart classrooms, artificial intelligence-based learning tools, data science, and robotics will be made available in these schools so that students can be prepared for the future.
