What are the educational qualifications?
For the TN NHM Recruitment 2026, candidates must possess a GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) or B.Sc. Nursing degree/certificate from a recognized institution. Additionally, candidates must hold a valid registration with the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council.

The maximum age limit for applicants is 50 years. Candidates must also fulfill other eligibility criteria specified in the official district-wise notifications.

Candidates must attach self-attested copies of the documents specified in the respective district's notification along with their application. These typically include:

How to apply?
Applications for the post of Staff Nurse must be submitted offline. Candidates need to fill out the application form and submit copies of the required documents to the concerned office.

Download the application form and details of district-wise vacancies from the official NHM-TN website.
Fill in all the required information accurately in the application form and attach photocopies of the necessary documents.
Submit or send the filled-in application form to the office of the District Health Officer/District Health Society of the respective district.
For all districts except Chengalpattu and Tiruppur, address the application to the Executive Secretary of the District Health Society at the District Health Office. The application form must reach the concerned office by 5 PM on September 25, 2026.
