Who is eligible to apply?
Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university, possess proficiency in shorthand (English) at a speed of 120 words per minute, and have knowledge of computer operations, including a typing speed of 40 words per minute on a computer. Additionally, candidates must have at least 5 years of regular service experience in positions such as Private Secretary, Senior PA, PA, or Senior Stenographer within government organizations, public sector undertakings, or statutory bodies.
The age limit for applicants is set between 30 and 45 years, calculated as of October 1, 2026. Candidates from reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit as per the applicable rules.
Selection Process and Salary
Eligible candidates will be selected based on a screening of applications, an objective-type examination, a shorthand (English) test, a computer-based English typing speed test, and a personal interview. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹67,700 to ₹2,08,700. In addition, candidates will be entitled to other benefits and allowances.
Application Fee
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee—based on their respective category—via an online mode. The fee is set at ₹1,500 (plus bank charges) for the General/Unreserved category, and ₹750 (plus bank charges) for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC - Non-Creamy Layer), and Ex-servicemen.
