SI (Executive) in Delhi Police (Male) – 205 posts
Delhi Police (Female) – 112 posts
SI (GD) in CAPF – 1,320 posts
SI (Fire) in CISF – 234 posts

Who Can Apply?
Candidates applying for the SSC CPO recruitment 2026 must meet specific age and educational qualification criteria. Let us look at the eligibility requirements.

Age Limit: Candidates aged 18 to 30 years can apply for the post of SI (Fire) in the CISF, while candidates aged 20 to 25 years can apply for other posts. The age limit will be calculated as of August 1, 2026. However, SC/ST candidates will receive a 5-year age relaxation, and OBC candidates will receive a 3-year relaxation. Ex-servicemen will receive relaxation in accordance with the applicable rules.

Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree (graduation) is the prescribed educational qualification for the posts of SI in Delhi Police and SI (GD) in CAPFs; meaning, only graduates are eligible to apply. Candidates currently in their final year of graduation may also apply, provided they have passed and obtained their degree by the closing date.

For the post of SI (Fire) in CISF, a bachelor's degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics is required. Candidates holding a three-year diploma in engineering disciplines are also eligible to apply.

For the post of SI (Male) in Delhi Police, candidates must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date of the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test.
