SSC MTS Form Date 2025: Staff Selection Commission has released the notification of MTS recruitment. With the release of the notice, the registration process has also started. 1,075 posts of Havildar will be filled, while the vacancies of MTS have not been notified yet. Interested candidates can now apply by visiting the official website ssc.gov.in.

The registration process has started from 26 June 2025 and will end on 24 July 2025. The online application fee can be deposited till 25 July (11.00 PM). The application correction window will be active from 29 to 31 July (11.00 PM). The computer-based test is scheduled between 20 September to 24 October 2025. The exam city information will be released 10 days before the exam day.

SSC MTS Eligibility: Eligibility Criteria

SSC MTS Educational Qualification: Educational Qualification

To join this recruitment, the candidate must have passed the Matriculation Examination (10th) or equivalent from a recognized board. The candidate must have this qualification on or before the cut-off date i.e. 01-08-2025.

SSC MTS Age Limit: Age Limit

18-25 years for MTS (ie the candidate should not have been born before 02.08.2000 and after 01.08.2007).

18-27 years for some posts of Havildar in CBIC and CBN, Revenue Department, and MTS in various departments (ie the candidate should not have been born before 02.08.1998 and after 01.08.2007).

Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the prescribed norms.

SSC MTS Application Fee: Application Fee
Applying candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 100. Candidates belonging to Women, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of a fee. Fee can be paid only through online payment mode, i.e. BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay debit cards. Fee can be paid till 25-07-2025 (23:00 hrs).

SSC MTS Selection Process: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on performance in Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST). Candidates selected in the final result will be called for document verification.

SSC MTS Examination Scheme: Exam Type
The exam for the MTS post will consist of a based Test (CBE) and for the Havildar post the exam will consist of a CBE and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST). The computer-based exam will be conducted in Hindi, English, and 13 regional languages. The exam will be conducted in two sessions. 45-45 minutes will be given for each session. A total of 90 questions will be asked in the exam.
