SSC MTS 2024: SSC MTS vacancies increased, now recruitment will be done on 9583 posts, know the last date of application..

SSC MTS 2024: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has notified that the number of Multi Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) vacancies to be filled through SSC MTS 2024 has been increased to 6,144 from the earlier notified 4,887 vacancies. With the addition of 3,439 Havildar vacancies in CIBC and CBN, the total number is now 9,583. The notification can be checked at ssc.gov.in.

The extension of the last date of application has also led to a revision of the cut-off date for determining eligibility conditions such as educational qualification and age limit. As per the recent announcement of the commission, the cut-off date for ascertaining eligibility will now be considered as August 3 instead of August 1.

However, the commission said that the application correction deadline - August 16 to 17 (11 pm) - will remain unchanged.

The exam will be held on this day.
The computer-based exam for SSC MTS and Havildar is tentatively scheduled for October-November 2024. The detailed timetable will be announced later.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: To apply for MTS vacancies, the age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 25 years (as per the revised cut-off date). For Havildar posts, the age limit of the candidates should be between 18 to 27 years as of August 3. Apart from this, relaxation in the upper age limit has been provided to reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed the class 10th (matriculation) examination or its equivalent examination from a recognized board by August 3.

Application Fee
Candidates have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee for SSC MTS 2024. At the same time, the application fee is exempted for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation.

Selection Process
The Commission will conduct a Computer Based Test (CBI) to shortlist the candidates.

Those who have applied for Havildar vacancies will have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PTE)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) after clearing the CBE round.

First of all, candidates visit the official website- ssc.gov.in.

Click on the 'Register Now' link.

Fill in the basic details and submit the registration form to receive the registration ID and password on your registered email ID and mobile number.

Login to the SSC portal with the registered credentials.

Click on the 'Apply' link next to SSC MTS 2024.

Fill in the required personal details, educational qualification, category, gender, etc. in the application form.

Pay the application fee by uploading the scanned documents. Submit the SSC MTS Application Form 2024 and take its printout.
