The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced recruitment for a total of 2,536 CHSL posts for candidates who have passed Class 12. The online application process for this recruitment began on September 7, 2026. Candidates aspiring to work in these CHSL roles have until October 7 to submit their applications.

Therefore, all candidates are advised to complete the application process well before the deadline, as no further opportunity will be provided.

**Salary Details**
Candidates selected for the posts of Lower Division Clerk and Junior Secretariat Assistant will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200. Those selected as Data Entry Operators will receive between ₹29,200 and ₹92,300 per month, while those selected for Data Entry Operator Grade-A posts will receive between ₹25,500 and ₹81,100 per month.

**Age Limit**
For the purpose of application, the candidate's age will be calculated as of August 1, 2026. Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years of age. Age relaxations will be granted to candidates from reserved categories: 5 years for SC and ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for candidates with disabilities (PwD).

**Required Qualifications**
To apply for these posts, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized institution in India.

**Application Fee**
Candidates are required to pay an application fee to submit the form. The fee is set at ₹100 for candidates in the unreserved category. However, female candidates, as well as those belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, are exempt from paying the application fee.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on the Tier-1 and Tier-2 examinations. In the Tier-1 exam, candidates will face 100 questions worth a total of 200 marks, covering English, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. The duration of the exam is set at one hour. A negative marking of 0.50 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer.
